ATL ANNUAL DAY AT DAV, KALINGA NAGAR
Bhubaneswar,(INS): DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar celebrated with pomp and grandeur the 1st Annual Day of its Atal Tinkering Laboratory sponsored and managed by the NITI AYOG under the Department of Science and technology, Govt. of India . Dr Pradipta Kumar Nanda, Dean Cum HOD of the Department Electronics and Research, SOA University attended the programme as the Chief Guest. ‘Atal Tinkering Laboratory is noble endeavor by the govt. of India to promote scientific temperament and attitude among budding young students’, said the chief guest in his address to the students. He further added that ATL has provided a favourable platform for the young learners to develop their scientific quest and their hunger to think out of the box. On this occasion, the students displayed the innovative projects and working models prepared by them in the laboratory. The exhibits were highly appreciated and liked by the chief guest. Students who brought laurels for the school by winning positions at different science exhibitions were felicitated with ‘Emerging Scientists of the year Award’. The entire programme was smoothly conducted under the supervision of the Principal Mr Bipin Kumar Sahoo and the whole-hearted cooperation of all the teachers of the school.
