IMFA mines gets prestigious ‘Pollution Control Appreciation Award-2019’
Bhubaneswar, (INS): Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA), the country’s leading fully integrated producer of value added ferro chrome, was recognised for its pioneering efforts with the Odisha State Pollution Control Board (OSPCB) awarding the prestigious Pollution Control Appreciation Award – 2019 to the Company’s Sukinda Chromite Mines. The award was given in recognition of effective pollution control measures and sound environment management practices adopted by the Management.At a function which took place at Jayadev Bhavan in Bhubaneswar today commemorating the 36th Foundation Day Ceremony of OSPCB, Shri Bikram Keshari Arukh, Hon’ble Minister, Forest & Environment, Govt of Odisha handed over the award to Sanjeev Das, Head – Mines Busines Unit and Puranjaya Behera, Vice President – Mines in the presence of senior officials of the State Government and other dignitaries.
